For block train services, Hellenic Train offers tailor-made solutions designed to meet each customer’s specific requirements.

To receive a detailed and customized quotation, you may submit your request by outlining the route, type of cargo, volume, and transport frequency. Our team assesses service feasibility based on available routes, infrastructure, and technical requirements, and provides the appropriate offer.

To ensure an accurate and comprehensive quotation, please include the following information in your request:

• Transport route (origin and final destination) 
• Type of cargo and any specific characteristics (e.g. dangerous goods) 
• Type of service (e.g. block train, conventional freight, or container transport) 
• Transport units / wagons to be used (Hellenic Train-owned, private, or third-party network) 
• Volume and frequency of transport (quantities, number of services, periodicity) 
• Any specific operational or technical requirements (time flexibility, return movements, special handling) 
• Information on loading/unloading facilities and their suitability 

Upon receipt of your request, the Freight Transport team evaluates service feasibility and prepares your quotation based on the operational, technical, and scheduling parameters of the transport.

Additional Charges

In addition to the base freight rate, transport services may be subject to Additional Charges, such as, indicatively, shunting fees and siding usage charges, depending on the nature of the transport or any specific operations required for its execution.
